Samizdat released the Disenfranchised Refuseniks album, a collaboration with the legendary and mystical Michael J Blood, in 2023, thriving on a focused expression of anti-establishment sentiment through deviant aesthetics, narcotic vapors, and hazy and smoked-out production values. Samizdat re-appropriates what it is to be artistic outside of the creative industry. A reflection of self that stands for and of itself.
