54 SOUND is a completely handcrafted soundsystem, built by 54 Kolaktiv and friends. Noticing a strong lack of mobile and quality soundsystems in Brussels and inspired by Jamaican soundsystem culture and free party culture, they decided to build their own. The system was developed during a workshop in September 2014, under the guidance of the Belgian reggae crews Jahmbassador Hi-Fi and Ionyouth Sound. 54Kolaktiv now organises parties using their own soundsystem, also availing it to other organizations and for other events. 54Kolaktiv play DJ sets tailored to their own system.
54 SOUND ist ein komplett handgefertigtes Soundsystem, gebaut von 54 Kolaktiv und Freunden. Da sie einen starken Mangel an mobilen und hochwertigen Soundsystemen in Brüssel bemerkten und von der jamaikanischen Soundsystem-Kultur und der freien Partykultur inspiriert wurden, beschlossen sie, ihr eigenes zu bauen. Das System wurde während eines Workshops im September 2014 unter der Leitung der belgischen Reggae-Crews Jahmbassador Hi-Fi und Ionyouth Sound entwickelt. 54Kolaktiv organisiert nun Partys mit ihrem eigenen Soundsystem und stellt es auch anderen Organisationen und Veranstaltungen zur Verfügung. 54Kolaktiv spielen DJ-Sets, die auf ihr eigenes System zugeschnitten sind.
